This page explains what Immot collects, why, and for how long. The data controller is Immot.
1. What we collect
Account
You can use the app without registering, on an anonymous account with no e-mail attached. If you do register, your e-mail address is stored. Signing in with Apple may hide your real address — we only ever see what Apple passes on.
Location
Your exact coordinates never leave the device. What reaches the server is a six-character geohash (an area of roughly 1.2 × 0.6 km), which may hold thousands of people. It is kept for 30 minutes and then deleted automatically.
That data does two things: it shows you what is being announced near you, and it tells a business how many people are nearby — a number, and no identities.
Settings
The categories you chose, the notification radius, the daily cap, quiet hours and language.
Notifications
A device identifier (push token) is stored so notifications can be delivered.
What you do
The announcements you publish, the places you follow, likes, comments, ratings and chat messages.
Which announcements you have viewed is recorded. A business sees the total only, never who looked.
2. What we do not collect
- your exact location,
- payment card details: payments are processed by the relevant payment providers, and card details are never stored on our systems,
- your contacts or photo library, beyond the one picture you choose yourself.
3. Who we share with
We do not sell your data. These providers are used to run the service:
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage,
- Google Firebase — notification delivery,
- Anthropic — the AI that helps write an announcement (only what you write or photograph for that purpose is sent),
- OpenAI — AI image generation, on the same terms,
- OpenStreetMap (Overpass, Nominatim) — place and address data: the search area is sent, never your identity,
- payment providers (Idram, Telcell, a bank) — when you make a payment.
4. How long we keep it
- location data — 30 minutes,
- the account and its contents — while the account exists,
- payment records — for as long as accounting law requires.
5. Your rights
You can see and correct your data in the app, and delete your account at any time from settings. Deleting removes your posts, follows, messages and location data.
Payment records are the exception: they are kept for the period given in section 4, as accounting law requires.
Questions or complaints: support@immot.app.
6. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 16.
7. Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will say so in the app if the change is significant.
